Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Kalamazoo College. I received my Bachelor of Arts in German and Political Science with a focus on public policy. During college, I developed and engaged with my love for teaching and youth development work by working with the Boy Scouts of America, YMCA summer camps, Farm and Wilderness Summer camps and the Kalamazoo Nature Center. I also spent a semester abroad in Erlangen Germany where I worked as an intern at the Erlangen Waldorfschule. I tutor primarily in American and world history, German language and culture, political science and english. I am also passionate about helping students prepare for AP exams as those classes played a very important role in my own academic journey. I believe in the power of education to enrich and uplift the lives of all involved and I am excited to engage with students on the subjects I care so much about. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (especially about history), exercise, spending time outdoors, and miniature painting.
