Having been an educator for over 25 years with 15 years of experience as an English teacher and over 8 as an administrator helping people discover who they are and what they hope to become drives me. If English is communication, critical thinking, and creativity, then teaching writing sits at the center of that philosophy.

Too often people are assigned writing instead of taught. However, ultimately writing is an art form that creates a conversation between the artist and the reader, so learning to write with your audience instead of at will make all the difference.

Having taught conversational ELA in South Korea for a year from ages 8 through adult, and grades 7-12 middle school and high school in NYS, and tutored students along the way together we can accomplish your goals as well.
