Greetings! My name is Michael Bowen. I am studying English with a focus in Creative Writing at Truett McConnell University. I plan to attend graduate school at UGA or the College of Charleston, with the hope of teaching English at the collegiate level.
I have one-on-one tutoring experience, a lot of patience, and work to adapt my tutoring techniques to each individual student. I am skilled in English composition and have been composing prose since I was old enough to sit at a keyboard. I recently won first place in fiction in my University's Creative Writing Competition for "The Legend of Woodbine Falls."
Additionally, I acquired very strong editing and organization skills from my time as publisher of my home-town newspaper, The News-Reporter, now known as The Lincoln McCormick Journal Messenger and Washington News-Reporter.
My endeavor is to help facilitate the best outcome for any student. If I am not equal to your task, I can at least help you find someone who is.
