Education is a key element for success, and knowledge is the power, to decide and choose between the best options.

I have taught Spanish for more than 6 years to students from elementary to high school. I have attended different universities, my bachelor's degree in Business Education at the University of Puerto Rico, then the University of Wisconsin-Miwaukee to complete graduate courses for teaching Spanish, and Mount Mary University to learn the necessary methodologies for elementary school students.

Spanish is my first language, and while I am still learning English, I have taken advantage of it as a language learner. I can identify with the students which leads me to detect common errors and techniques necessary to teach my students what they need to learn a new language.

I have experience in all levels of Spanish, from beginner Spanish to advanced language and literature courses approved by agencies such as the College Board.

It is a pleasure to share and teach about Hispanic American cultures and make connections for real, interactive, and purposeful learning. Each student has their own needs, and this platform allows me to design lessons appropriate to their needs, taking advantage of time and previous experiences to build new vocabulary.
