Hello, I'm Jeffrey! I graduated Summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in chemistry from California State University San Bernardino. At CSUSB I was recognized for my excellence in organic chemistry and was provided with the opportunity to lead discussion courses and tutoring sessions for organic chemistry students. Through these sessions I was able to help many students understand the difficult topic that many struggle with, organic chemistry. My tutoring/teaching style includes providing many examples and opportunities for the student to practice because I believe application is the key to succeed in organic chemistry.

Currently I am graduate student working towards my PhD in organic chemistry at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. As a graduate student I am a Teaching Assistant which entails the responsibilities of leading discussion sections and holding office hours for the undergraduate organic chemistry students. This continued experience has helped me develop a deep understanding of the topic and has equipped me with the necessary skills to be a great tutor.
