I was a child who was witty and loved to read & write. However, when it came to math I struggled, A LOT! I had one teacher my 6th grade year who encouraged me while helping me learn math in a fun way. He had a profound impact on my life and gave me the confidence I needed to continue my love for learning to this day. I desire to provide that feeling for children and leave every heart & mind I touch with a continued love for learning and the self-confidence to work through educational hurdles. Grasping new concepts isn't just about learning the task at hand, but also feeling capable of stepping out of one's comfort zone and having the mentality that "I can accomplish what I want and work for."

I coach youth 10U football and have been a soccer player since I was old enough to walk. I'm a mom of a boy and a girl and enjoy spending my free time doing things they enjoy. I'm an orca lover, enjoy comedy anything, love to cook and try new foods, and enjoy volunteering!
