With a BA in Elementary Education (K-6) and advanced studies in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in English Education (K-12) from Flagler and FSU, as well as a keen interest in Genealogical Research from Boston University, my academic path has significantly influenced my educational philosophy.

In the realm of tutoring, I provide comprehensive support across all subjects and levels, with a particular expertise in elementary and middle school subjects like reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. My aim is to cater to the unique learning styles of each student, ensuring an inclusive and effective educational experience. Additionally, I hold TESOL/ESOL and Reading (K-12) Endorsements.

Professionally, my experience extends from teaching elementary and middle school to a role as a Senior Learning Development Specialist in a technology company, where I apply my educational expertise to adult and corporate training. This journey, especially through the challenges of virtual education during the COVID pandemic, has honed my skills in creating adaptable, engaging learning environments.

My teaching philosophy is centered on the belief that education should be a personalized, engaging, and life-long journey. Through interactive, technology-driven methods, I strive to make each tutoring session not only informative but also inspiring, encouraging students to actively engage in their learning process.

Beyond academia, my personal pursuits in genealogical research immerse me in the intricate world of DNA and family history. This, combined with the joy and balance brought into my life by my three dogs and two cats, enriches my perspective and adds depth to my understanding of the world.

I enjoy working with students from all backgrounds and all learning styles. Students with ADHD/IEP/504 Plans, etc. will feel comfortable in my sessions.

I enjoy tutoring all subjects and ages, including test prep, SAT, ACT, FSA, and other state tests as well as core subjects. I look forward to working with you and your child!
