My journey in education and tutoring began at The Ohio State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in History. This foundation not only deepened my love for language and historical insights but also carved a path towards my role as a Professional Writing Consultant at the same university. Here, I had the privilege of working closely with college students and faculty, an experience that solidified my passion for teaching and helping others achieve their academic goals.

What drives my enthusiasm for tutoring is the belief that education is a powerful tool for personal growth and societal development. I find immense joy in guiding students through their learning journey, watching them overcome challenges, and celebrating their successes. My approach to tutoring is rooted in patience, understanding, and adaptability, recognizing that each student's learning style is unique.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also dedicated over two decades to serving as a medic. This role has not only enriched my life with invaluable experiences but also allowed me to extend my passion for teaching into the field of emergency medicine. I've had the honor of teaching emergency medicine at various levels, blending my medical expertise with my educational skills. This unique intersection of medicine and education has further deepened my understanding of the diverse needs of learners and has been instrumental in shaping my holistic approach to tutoring. My experiences in high-pressure medical environments have also reinforced my commitment to patience, clarity, and adaptability in teaching, ensuring that my students are not only academically successful but also prepared to handle real-world challenges.
