I have had students who were successful in passing exams to receive their GED, AFOQT, Insurance Licensing and CIC through tutoring with me in the Varsity Portal, I have helped students with their ACT and SAT tests with tips, approaches and practice to improve their scores. I have helped individuals and couples with Personal Finance questions, examples and approaches. I was a college Economics major, am a Veteran, and have had years of experience in the Insurance Industry with multiple Insurance Designations. I have been acknowledged with kind words and positive feedback by many Varsity students for my help with them to pass their tests. My approach is a "personal" one tailored to each individual after I determine their strengths and weaknesses. Many times I have emphasized basic knowledge (Math formulas and Vocabulary, as examples) to give the students a solid foundation to move forward. I try not to be too personal or "gossipy", but I like to have my students feel comfortable in our one-on-one sessions. I think my real-life experiences, employment and educational background has really helped my interactions with Varsity students!
