I've worked in many capacities as a "math lover." The best of those times have been spent working with math learners from elementary darlings to adults. I've been a math coach, a math consultant and I even carried my math love to our state department of education in Louisiana. I've had a love of math for as long as I can remember, even when I struggled with harder concepts and needed help myself. I'm grateful to have had wonderful teacher role models who loved math and loved helping everyone around them really understand concepts and have fun along the way.

I've collected a toolbox of strategies for building content in my math journey, which includes rigor, relevance, and relationship. I'm excited and looking forward to utilizing strategies and tools to help accomplish goals together by asking questions and building success in a safe and interactive learning environment.

You may not be surprised hearing that what I do for fun sometimes is hang out with a math problem or a good math book:-) I love being a grandmother, a gardener and I'm an avid reader. I'm also a pluviophile except when the raindrops come with our Louisiana hurricane seasons. I love spicy food and good gumbeaux!
