Elizabeth: Brentwood tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a certified early childhood special education teacher with over ten years of experience working with typically developing students and students with learning differences. I currently teach students in kindergarten up to 2nd grade; however, I was a preschool special education teacher for four years, teaching students ages 3-5 with learning differences. I am passionate about delivering individualized and specially designed instruction that enables students to reach their full potential. In addition, I enjoy providing support to the student's family, including guidance on how to implement different strategies or routines with their children at home. I have a Master's in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies focusing on infancy and preschool from Auburn University. When I am not in the classroom, I am a mom to two daughters, 3 and 5 years old!

I enjoy journaling and doodling to express myself creatively in my spare time. I also love spending time organizing in my home. I love when things are arranged in a way that improves my family’s daily routines!
