Certified Tutor

I am a certified teacher and currently am teaching kindergarten. I have also taught 2nd and 5th grade. I obtained a Gifted certification after my first year of teaching. I have experience teaching students with ADHD, ADD, and Autism. My favorite things to teach are K-2 math and ELA (literacy) and 3-5 ELA and social studies. The passion I have for teaching comes from my love of history! I want to be a part of it, after I'm long gone, what better way to be a part than shaping the minds of our future leaders? I am a huge fan of learning through play and run a student-centered style environment and I believe with differentiation and rigor we can meet students where they are academically, socially, and emotionally, and take them where they need to be. Thus closing the learning gap.

Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to take small trips to wherever we think is fun. I enjoy cooking, especially new recipes and trying new foods.
