Certified Tutor

I am a current senior at the University of Miami studying nursing. I hope to receive my Bachelors of Science in Nursing by May 2024. I began tutoring when I was a freshman in high school and I joined a program called Big Brother Big Sister. Every week after school I would visit either the elementary or middle schools in my town and tutor students from ages 8-15. This experience not only changed the educational pathway of the students I tutored, but the connections I made with them left an impact on me and I have been passionate about tutoring since then. My strongest subjects have always been math and science so that is what I prefer to tutor in, but I have always been open to whatever needs my students have. An important part of all my sessions is to make it fun, as it much easier to learn that way. As a nursing major, it is my life goal to help and care for all people. While tutoring, I hope to do the same by helping my students reach their fullest academic potential!
