I am a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and UAlbany, both in New York State. I have a Bachelor and Master of Arts in History. Since graduation I have worked in many different types of educational positions. I worked in the business world for a few years building training materials and training consultants on educational products. I've also worked in the classroom setting, teaching a variety of subjects for over ten years. As the Director of Education at a museum, I build curriculum, and created programs to bring local history to schools in my area as a traveling and on-site teacher. And though I'm passionate about teaching history, three years ago I discovered online teaching and ESL learners (I'm also TEFL certified). I soon found that I love connecting with students one on one, bringing my fun and engaging personality to the online classroom where I can provide individualized and interactive learning.

I am a mom of four. In my spare time I'm an avid gardener and I love to travel. I am on the Board of Directors for my town's Cemetery Association, Yearbook Chair of my local garden club, and committed to local government and town programs.
