As a graduate of Texas A&M International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish focused on secondary education, I bring over 13 years of experience in public secondary schools and 13 years in post-secondary education. My passion for languages, particularly Spanish, drives my commitment to creating engaging, culturally immersive learning experiences. I utilize a variety of resources, including videos, music, and authentic texts, to help students connect with the language and prepare effectively for the AP Spanish Language and Culture Examination. With a proven track record of students achieving scores of 3 or higher, I strive to foster a supportive learning environment that emphasizes the importance of education in enhancing quality of life. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, volunteering with homeless youth, and cherishing time with my family.

I'm a life long learner and I have many interests however I find community service to be the most rewarding. I founded a student pantry that services students at a local high school that face food insecurity. Traveling has always been an interest of mine and I enjoy it the most when traveling with my family. Summer trips to the beach are an absolute must along with outdoor cooking and camping. When we are not traveling, I enjoy tending to my vegetable garden.
