I am a history teacher who had a long career in banking before returning to teaching. My career gave me the opportunity to travel extensively while living abroad (13 years in London). Through this I was able to learn about other cultures and the connections that run through our Modern World.
I am a graduate of Yale University where I studied History but I have also taught the subject in a number of schools with diverse student communities. I focus on increasing knowledge with my students but more importantly, work to improve their study skills in note taking, annotating, citing references, essay writing etc.
