I am a graduate of East Tennessee State University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Arts in English, and a Master of Arts in Teaching. I have experience working in secondary English classrooms and tutoring a variety of students, especially English language learners and graduate students working on writing projects. While I tutor a wide range of subjects, I enjoy tutoring English literature and writing. I have also helped students prepare for the ACT, GRE, and AP exams. With test preparation, I believe in giving you direct and actionable tips that will help you prepare and succeed on your exam. At the same time, I try to balance these practical tips with a genuine love for learning. I believe education is crucial for appreciating and living a meaningful life, and I hope to foster an appreciation for learning in my students.
