Learning can sometimes be a challenging process, yet overcoming the obstacles that arise through one's educational journey are quite satisfying. As a medical doctor currently getting trained in internal medicine, I've been so fortunate to experience it first hand, and to be a witness to many other people's process of discovery and self-actualization.
With experience that was gained through spending many years on both sides of this journey (as a student, and as an educator), I have developed a teaching philosophy that takes into account individual learning goals.
Having had the opportunity to coach and/or tutor students of different age groups and within different disciplines, I've learned that assessing students' strengths and weaknesses, along with each student's needs provides for the most successful teaching approach. I enjoy one-one-one tutoring; as it allows for more consideration of individuality among students.
I am continually searching for, and utilizing the most current and effective pedagogical methods.
