I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Lafayette, LA. I graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA with a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Minor in Speech Communication. I passionate about educating students on the skill set to navigate career ready skills (i.e., leadership, team dynamics, effective communication, diversity, equity, and inclusion, social justice, strategic planning, and cultural competency). Because of the amount of reading and writing in my current profession, I can help students in not only career readiness skills, but also in English and Public Speaking because of my minor. I am an advocate for impacting students inside and outside the classroom, especially through co-curriculum models.
