Certified Tutor

I am a student at the University of Georgia pursuing a Bachelor's in Communication Studies with a minor in Studio Art. I tutor many subjects, but I am most passionate about teaching History, Literature, Reading, and Math. I have been a religious educations teacher, where I helped students learn about their religious history and tutored them to advance their skills in their academic education as well. I have also been a special educations tutor for students with physical, mental, emotional, or learning disabilities. Most importantly, I have assisted numerous students in furthering their academic skills by helping them stay engaged and interested in the topics that they learn. Throughout my experience as a teacher, I have enjoyed building relationships with my students and connecting with them not only as a professional but as a friend as well. I am a firm believer in not just teaching facts and answers, but engaging students in the material so they can relate it to their own lives.

Aside from teaching, I also love to dance, bake, travel, and take my dog, Cookie, on long walks!
