Hi! My name is Lillian and I live in Washington, DC, but I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA. I am in my third year as an undergrad at Georgetown University majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with minors in biology and spanish. I have worked with students from kindergarten to college. While I tutor in all subjects, I especially enjoy working on history and english because I believe that using stories to understand these subjects is not only helpful, but makes it more enjoyable. I recognize that each student learns in their own way, so I apply different learning strategies to each session to keep the students engaged. As a younger tutor, and a student myself, I feel that I can better relate to the struggles and concerns students may be having both inside and outside the classroom.

Hobbies

All throughout high school I was an avid Irish dancer, and now serve as president of the university's Irish Dance team, Hoya Slainte. I'm also highly involved in our university private equity and venture capital club, Georgetown Student Capital Partners. Outside of my campus commitments, I am passionate about baking and trying out new cookie recipes!
