Certified Tutor

I'm a drummer who has a passion for tutoring music and math. I received my Masters in Music from NYU and a BA in Music from the University of Miami along with a Minor in Mathematics. I enjoy working with students because I have incredibly fond memories of those educators who inspired my when I was younger and I want to create those same bonds with the younger generations. I have worked with students K-12 both in the classroom and privately. I tutor all levels of math including algebra geometry, trigonometry, as well as general music, music theory, and drums/percussion. I love teaching math because I love puzzles, and I consider math to have some of the most interesting puzzles waiting to be solved! My approach is that there is always more than one way to arrive at the answer to a problem, I'm simply here to find what solution works best for each of my students. Perhaps right now you're not the biggest fan of math or music, but I'm here to change that!
