My passion is for volcanoes! I became interested in volcanoes and their inner workings early in my college career, but was always fascinated by nature as a kid. I hold degrees from George Mason University (in Virginia), Boise State University (in Idaho), and Roskilde Universitet (in the country of Denmark!). I have been a professor of geology for about 10 years. When I'm not in class, I spend a lot of time traveling to National Parks.
