With a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, I have more than twenty years of experience working with students at all levels in both the US and Canada. I am a generalist, with areas of specialization including research applications, data analysis, criminology, social inequality, and the population determinants of health. Aside from these areas, I can help improve your writing, presenting, and research skills. Adult learner or working professional? I can assist with grant proposals, reports, technical writing, and popular computer applications. Let me show you how to work smart, not hard, when using applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SPSS, STATA, and SAS.

Are you studying French? I am bilingual French-English and have taught in both languages at the university level, as well as helping high school students prepare for the International Baccalaureate Exams.

Thesis students are of particular interest for my work as a tutor. I have successfully mentors more than 20 MA/MS and 6 PhD theses with students who have gone on to careers where their writing and analytic skills stood out among their colleagues.
