How do you teach someone how to learn, how to think, and how to express their ideas? First, you teach them how to read, how to write, and then how to speak publicly. I have two master's degrees: one in Communications and one in Special Education- Applied Behavior Analysis. I have taught university classes in public speaking and communications for many years. I have also established an elementary school with a classical education emphasis. I believe that the skill of reading opens the world of learning and the skill of writing and presenting your thoughts develops your critical thinking skills and develops your talents of discovery.

With my husband, I enjoy finding beautiful new trails to hike and fun new recipes to try. I also like to read and listen to podcasts to learn about other's stories. I love teaching and playing with my grandchildren.
