Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The College of William and Mary. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Literature, with a focus on Hispanic Studies. I am also a graduate of Full Sail University, where I received my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.

Although I am able to speak five languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese), I have worked as a translator and interpreter for Spanish (certified) and Italian. I have also had various professional roles in creative writing, screenwriting, marketing writing, medical writing, legal writing, and copywriting.

I have tutored children ages 4-18 in Spanish for over 10 years and have taught ESL online to children ages 4-16 in China and Hong Kong (as I am a certified TESOL instructor) for over 2 years.

I have traveled the world extensively as a veteran and as a career professional. Every country and culture I have experienced has reinforced my belief in the importance of language and dialogue. I am passionate about helping children learn a new language to assist in opening up worlds of opportunities as I myself have experienced.

In my spare time, I love reading, watching films from around the globe, and spending quality time full of laughter with my children.
