I have a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Indianapolis and I completed the transition to teaching program from Indiana Wesleyan University to earn my secondary math teaching license. Because of these degrees, I enjoy tutoring math and science the most. I have 6 years of teaching experience in public and private schools, but have also taught children how to swim for over 25 years. I have recently adopted three older children from Bolivia that we homeschool, so daily I am finding playful and efficient ways to teach my own kids. I have also lived in Bolivia for 6 years and speak Spanish conversationally and would enjoy helping you or your child learn Spanish as well. I love helping children have fun and feel successful while they are learning. In my free time I enjoy spending time in nature, with my family, and reading a good book. I really look forward to meeting your child and having fun learning together!
