I'm Michael. I graduated with a Masters of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015 and since then I have been teaching Secondary Mathematics. Over these years I have taught Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I have additionally tutored outside of my teaching load in order to help students succeed even if they were not directly receiving my instruction. Being an experienced teacher and tutor has allowed me to see a wide range of student ability and to develop tools to help each student wherever they may be. My approach to tutoring is to instill confidence in the students I work with. Much like life, confidence in Mathematics is essential. By allowing them to have small victories in our sessions that they can build off of, I give them the tools necessary to be more confident as they move on in their Mathematics career.

I am happy to work with material already given to the student or am able to generate my own content given my experience in the teaching world. I am eager to help others in any way I can so please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions or to schedule a session!
