I'm originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, but now I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts as a senior at Harvard University studying government and economics. I'm very excited to be tutoring for Varsity Tutors because I received tutoring for standardized tests on the website when I was applying to colleges a few years ago, and I'm excited to continue the tradition of excellence and to help everyone do well and achieve what they are aiming to do! I am the oldest of four children so my tutoring experience started by helping my siblings with their schoolwork for as long as I can remember, and I've always had a knack for helping students understand things better on their own. I take a very personalized approach, going through your specific thought process and moving forward from there. I am excited to help students in ACT/SAT/PSAT prep as well as subjects like English, Math, French, Spanish, and just anything social studies-related! In my free time, I like to watch sports, read books, and hang out with my friends.

Hobbies

I'm very interested in sports; I like college and pro-level football and basketball the most, but I will watch most anything. I love to read, especially books about inspiring figures in politics and social movements (my favorite right now is probably A Promised Land by Barack Obama). But most of my time I relax by watching shows and movies (West Wing and the Office are definitely my favorites).
