I am an endlessly curious and encouraging person. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in both Political Science and History from Arizona State University. I had the pleasure of attending Barrett, the Honors College while at ASU. I have worked in the field of public policy and data visualization in Washington D.C. and Seattle. While in Seattle, I became a volunteer tutor with the Boys & Girls Club and discovered my love and passion for education. Whether a student is struggling with material or looking for a greater challenge, I see the whole person and foster curiosity and confidence with students. Outside of tutoring, I study sustainability and make performance and installation art out of trash. The world is an enormous place with lots of work to do. I believe education is a pathway to unlocking the world's magic and improving our ability to contribute positively to other people's lives. While my expertise is in data, history, and policy, I love teaching all subjects.
