My name is James Haggis, and I am a recent graduate from NYU, where I studied Screenwriting and Creative Writing. Throughout my time at college, I maintained a high 3.8 GPA, and was placed on NYU's Dean's List. When I took the SATs in 2015, I got an overall score of 2120, and was in the 91st national percentile for writing, and in the 99th national percentile for critical reading, with a score of 770 out of 800.

While at NYU I not only wrote numerous papers myself, but also helped many of my friends and peers with outlining, editing, and or revising theirs.

Since graduating, I have written, script supervised, and helped shoot my own short film, as well as worked as a writers assistant to an academy award winning screenwriter.

I primarily tutor high school and middle school students in writing, literature, history, and English, but can also tutor in middle school math and science. I am currently only meeting with students online.
