Molly: Brighton tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a junior at Columbia University studying Comparative Literature and Society with a focus on Spanish, French, and Catalan literature. I have volunteered tutoring bilingual Latinx elementary school students in a variety of school subjects, and I have worked with Korean students who need help with their English reading and writing skills, SAT preparation, and Spanish comprehension skills. I also advise low-income, high-achieving high school students apply to college through the non-profit college access organization Matriculate. I enjoy working with students who are curious and excited about learning, and I like to give students the freedom to develop their own goals and find creative ways to achieve them.
Outside of tutoring and college advising, I am an editor for the Columbia Journal of Literary Criticism, and I also enjoy playing the violin, reading, and cooking.
