Logan
Certified Tutor
I have spent my whole life being in love with learning and nothing makes me happier than the look in the eyes of people when everything clicks and they, "get it." That's why I have spent the past 5 years individually coaching college students in speech and debate and why I graduated with a degree in Communication from the University of Kentucky. My teaching style emphasizes clarity and adaptation. I work to multiply the ways a student can approach a question or problem to give them the most robust possible intuitions for the subject. In this way, my students learn not only for the immediate need, but for long term growth, as well. I have always enjoyed tests and love helping students learn to love them as well. I believe that any student can overcome anxiety and mental blocks on particular subjects when the tutor is adaptive to their needs. I'm eager to teach students how to make connections and understand any part of the world they need!

On top of my course work in the Master of Divinity program, I read promiscuously. I devoted the past summer to reading the Brothers Karamazov and am currently reading books in theology and sociology. My wife and I love playing League of Legends together, and we're slowly climbing the ranked ladder. I try out any new board game I see, especially deckbuilding games and cooperative strategy games. I'm the cook in our house, and enjoy experimenting with new pastas, curries. When all else fails, you can find me going through my YouTube subscriptions, finding new approaches to learning.
