Certified Tutor

I am a junior at the University of Nevada - Reno, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs. After graduation I plan to join the Peace Corps and then go to law school.
My passion for education comes from my mother, a special needs preschool teacher, with whom I spent my formative years learning how to work with those with disabilities.
While this is my first time tutoring in a formal sense, I have been teaching for over 10 years. From the two year old classroom, to the corporate office setting, I have experience across multiple ages and different learning platforms. My passions for tutoring lie in English and Math, as I believe they are fundamental to the developing students repertoire for continued education beyond the traditional K-12 experience.
Outside of my own coursework and tutoring I spend my time hiking, playing video games, teaching my cats how to walk on a leash, and I have recently started to dabble in the area of sourdough bread baking.
