I graduated from the American University of Paris with a BA in French Studies, with a focus in translation, as well as a double minor in Communications and Political Science. I have always loved, performing, travel, and languages, and I find that being able to communicate with people when you don't share any common speech is probably my favorite challenge! Probably because of having been a babysitter and childcare provider since the age of 15, I naturally have an affinity for and communicate well with young people. I revel in the opportunity to share knowledge I have gained with others in general, and perhaps it is why I gravitated towards tutoring.

I worked as a language arts and math tutor for a company in Los Angeles for grades K-8 as well as having my own private clients for many years in LA, in English, Math, French, and movement. Most of my experience is with children and young adults, but have taught many adults conversational and basic French. I have a theater, dance, and music background as well and love teaching those arts to any age. It's a joy to impart knowledge - what good does it do anyone if we just kept it all for ourselves?! I feel it is a vital duty to teach our young as well as be able to nurture adults on the path to learning new skills.
