Certified Tutor

I'm an undergraduate student at Florida State University working towards a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Music Therapy. I've volunteered as a tutor through Tri-M Music Honor Society, teaching young students about music, and through Miami Girls Rock Camp, which works to empower young girls and non-binary people through music. I've taught people as young as 8 years old up to seniors in high school. My favorite topics to teach are those relating to psychology and music, but I also teach Spanish, English and math. I'm passionate about motivating students to achieve their goals and helping them become confident in their ability. I believe students' input is important and I always look to improve and alter my methods to each individual. I like helping students find ways to work things out rather than giving them the answers. In my free time, I like to listen to/play music, read, exercise and hang out with my family and friends.
