I am a Math teacher with 7+ years of experience in the public education system. I pride myself on helping student achieve success in a field, Math, that is consider difficult for many people.
My educational philosophy is that every student is capable of learning all types of Mathematics. To achieve this, these criteria need to be achieved.
1. The student needs to be acknowledge that they will fail more times then they succeed. Failure is the key to positive growth. Achieving success requires hard work and perseverance.
2. The willingness to never giving up. True Math success takes time. The student needs to understand that most of the time you will not grasp a concept the first time you hear it. It could take multiple to lessons to start seeing success.
3. Trust. Trust that we, together will reach your goal.

On my free-time I enjoy staying active, ranging form sports to outdoor yard work. Math is a TRUE joy of mine. While working on math problems I enter a zone where everything around me slows down and all my focus is on the problem at hand.
