I am a 21-year-old undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota studying Urban Studies to become a city planner one day. I also have a minor in Statistics and Public Interest Design. I am a tutor for Varsity Tutors because love teaching and explaining concepts to individuals of all ages. My high school and middle school experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program makes me confident I can effectively help high school and middle school aged students in their classes. Additionally, I have grown up in a household with lots of younger siblings, and I have babysat for many years, so I am comfortable working with younger kids as well. In my free time, I love to play volleyball - I have experience coaching a volleyball team for the Special Olympics Program. My tutoring style is one of patience and visual learning methods - my goal is to make sure students understand the "why" behind each problem.
