Certified Tutor
As an elementary school teacher, I have taught 4th grade for two years. I have taught and tutored both elementary and high school students in all subjects but my favorite is tutoring math. I believe that math is such an important part of our everyday world and develops critical thinking and problem solving. I ran an after school Math Academy program at my school to help my students become confident mathematicians. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University, with a minor in teaching English as a second language. I am passionate about helping every student develop an identity as a successful learner. My tutoring style is upbeat and encouraging with multiple ways to experience and interact with content. I believe that learning can and should be fun and engaging for students!

I am a big musical theater fan. I love tap dancing, singing, ballet, and both performing in and watching musicals. You can also often find me at home baking and cooking delicious things. One of my favorite places to be is snuggled up reading a good book! I have a passion for reading. My husband and I also love to go on hikes and enjoy the outdoors!
