Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where I earned my law degree. Prior to attending law school, I earned an Associate's degree in Pre-Law from Miami Dade College and later a Bachelor's degree in English (magna cum laude) from Florida International University.

As a life-long learner, I am passionate about teaching others. During my final semester of law school, I worked (part-time) as a High School English teacher; I also tutored students of varying ages in different subjects. Prior to that, I served as a volunteer mentor to at-risk teen girls. I helped my mentee gain admission to her dream school and offered her private Italian-language lessons. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and Foreign Languages (Spanish and Italian).

My teaching philosophy is that no two students are alike and that each student deserves to receive individualized instruction that caters to his/her unique learning needs. When I am not teaching, I am practicing law. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, dancing, exercising, and playing with my pups.
