Certified Tutor

I graduated from Andrews University with a BA in Communication. I transitioned into Tech as a software engineer in 2021 and am training to attain my A+ and Security+ certificates.

I enjoy learning other languages as a hobby. This made me realize how hard learning a different language can be. That experience led me to get my TESOL certificate to teach ESL in South Korea for close to 2 years. I have also tutored ESL in college and after my time in South Korea.

I have experience tutoring math and reading PARCC assessment prep for elementary and middle school. My bread and butter is phonics.

I honed many of my public speaking skills as a past member of the local Japanese-English Toastmasters club, a conference speaker at AdieCon 2021, and many presentations for work, study, and church.

My goal as a tutor is to help you enjoy the journey to your final destination by creating measurable goals to get you there. Seeing progress is so rewarding! This journey can get challenging, but I am happy to help and cheer you on along the way. Let's work together!
