I am a Mathematics major from Amherst College who used to hate math. Seriously. I remember trying to actually stare daggers at my Geometry teacher during high school (it's okay, we're cool now) because I felt that the work we had to do was so tough. But the reason why it was tough was because I was trying to do it alone.
But math does not have to be a solo journey. No one should be stuck feeling like they're behind in the middle of a class lecture, because chances are, if you're confused, there's a high chance someone else is too.
I'm here to tutor math because I know what it's like to have a lot of questions and feel like I know nothing about what is going on. I want to help light that little lightbulb in students' minds so that they feel better about their ability to tackle their math assignments. I want them to feel better about asking questions and admitting they don't understand.
We all get lost every now and then, so let's help guide each other.
I'm here to provide homework help and better student understanding of concepts that they are unsure about.
