I am ready to meet your academic support needs! I am a Master of Public Administration graduate with a B.A. in English literature and over 5 years of experience teaching; tutoring all K-12 subjects as well as higher education core courses and college entrance exams, including the LSAT and FL Teacher Certification Exams. I specialize in both literature analysis and public policy analysis, specifically, discovering unintended policy consequences and offering recommendations to counter them. These policy efforts so often require the use of math, in particular, statistical analysis, as well as more qualitative approaches that account for the critical human factors involved in policy-making. I am inspired by this difficult work and so excited to share my knowledge and skills in my endeavor to support student success!

Hobbies

I am interested in best practices in education, am an avid follower of astrophysical discoveries, and am constantly endeavoring to understand the way things work, from human behavior to the physical world. Of course, I like to read books, especially non-fiction, history texts. One of my favorite books is Chaos: Making a New Science, by James Gleick. I also enjoy classics like H. P. Lovecraft’s fantastical horror stories and Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein. I am most content, however, when I am contributing value to students’ lives who benefit from the support of an inspiring tutor.
