I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (yay Tar Heels!), where I completed my Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Arabic. I am also the author of a children's book series, as well as a middle grade novel. One of my biggest passions is student literacy, and I'm excited about working with students to develop their reading and writing skills. I have particular experience in teaching SAT and PSAT preparation, and have helped many high school students with their college application essays. I have taught students of all ages in creative writing workshops, as I have a special interest in creative writing. I teach a variety of other subjects, as well, and I look forward to working with all of my students to help them achieve their goals.
