I'm currently a Ph.D. candidate at the State University of New York, Stony Brook in their English Literature program. I've taught literature and writing courses at the college level for five years and have tutored the SAT / ACT exams for two.
I got my undergraduate degree at Saint Anselm College, and while there I fell in love with education; I knew I wanted to inspire my own students the way my college professors inspired me!
Even though my background is in literature and language arts, I also tutor high school and SAT / ACT math courses with excellent success.
When I'm not tutoring students, I work at Providence College as a writing instructor and at Bryant University as an administrative assistant in the Annual Fund office.
My hobbies include running and enjoying time with friends, family, and of course, my cat!
