Teaching is my passion and calling. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was very little, and now I am living my dream! I currently teach 5th grade at a Lutheran school in Illinois. I received my degrees in Elementary Education, Middle Grades Literacy, and Middle Grades Social Science from Concordia University Chicago. In addition to being a licensed teacher, I also have a lot of previous tutoring experience. In high school, I was a peer tutor to students with special needs. In college, I tutored a 4th grader in math and English to prepare him for a private school entrance exam and their curriculum. I also tutored a high schooler in preparing for the ACT.
Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy reading, writing stories, browsing Pinterest, crafting, and watching movies. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your goal!
