Certified Tutor

I studied for my undergraduate degree at Liberty University. I have a double major, one in Science in General Psychology and another in Science in Healthcare Administration. In addition, I also have a Liberty University undergraduate certificate in Healthcare Management, a University of North Carolina Bridging the Gap Medical Interpreter Training certificate, and I am a member of three honor societies (Sigma Beta Delta, Delta Mu Delta, and Psi Chi). I am originally from Per, South America; therefore, my native language is Spanish. However, I grew up learning English since I was 7 years old, as languages have always been my passion. I have experience tutoring Spanish and statistics for undergraduate and graduate students. I am currently learning Chinese Mandarin and preparing to take the MCAT; and then apply for medical school. Moreover, my original academic interests were in math, biology, and psychology. I have been lucky to put my knowledge into practice while interning in a Hospital. In my free time, I volunteer at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill and also with the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA). Finally, I am also a certified medical interpreter and I am currently involved in 4 research projects at Duke University Hospital and Liberty University.
