My goal is to help each student reach their full potential and gain confidence in any subject they currently struggle with.

I graduated from Brown University with an honors degree in Environmental Science with a focus in Conservation Science and Policy. While at Brown, I worked as a teaching assistant for two full semesters. In those classes I worked with students one-on-one to craft semester-long, individually-researched projects that they then presented to the class. I also have experience tutoring middle school math, and am especially excited to teach middle and high school age groups.

I have worked as a gymnastics instructor for middle-school aged children, an ultimate frisbee captain for college students, and have led a summer hiking and Spanish learning program with high school students. In all of these instances I was able to gain valuable interpersonal skills that carry through to my tutoring. I enjoy forging meaningful connections with my students and strive above all to help them become more confident in their given subject area.

While I tutor a wide range of subjects, I particularly enjoy teaching middle school math and writing, as well as beginner and mid-level French and Spanish. Additionally, I am a native Spanish speaker and went through two years of ESL myself as a young child, and am therefore excited to help anybody, child or adult, reach their full potential in this subject. I studied French for nine years and love the language, and would be thrilled to share my knowledge with students that need it.

When not tutoring, I enjoy hiking, birding, and wildlife photography (luckily these are not mutually exclusive!).
