My name is Robert, and I'm a second year medical student at Stony Brook University School of Medicine in Long Island, New York. I'd love to help you with your tutoring needs here on Varsity Tutors!
I've been tutoring since high school in a variety of math and science topics, in addition to test prep for the SAT, ACT, and MCAT exam for medical school admissions. While earning my biomedical engineering degree in college, I tutored through three distinct tutoring services on campus, from the general population of students, to the student-athletes, to the academically and financially challenged students in the Educational Opportunity Program. I like to challenge my students by linking concepts between sessions and topics, taking it slow when the material gets difficult, and leaving plenty of time for explanations and questions.
