My goal is to provide an excellent educational experience, tailoring my approach to meet the individual needs of the learner. I taught 3rd grade Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies and Science grades 5, 6, and 8 with a focus on Reading Comprehension and Writing. I majored in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Virginia and graduated with honors. I earned an A- in Calculus at UVA. I enjoy connecting with students of various ages, backgrounds, and interests. I have tutored English as a Second Language and ACT Prep as well. I do short-term business consulting in Software Product Management and Business Strategy too. My goal would be to make the tutoring session engaging and easy to understand for maximal learning.
